Christian Christian Louboutin Louboutin Breaks Records With Design Museum Exhibition

It seems the glamor of the high heeled shoe is as magnetic as Christian Louboutin ever, seeing as Christian Louboutin's exhibition at the Design Museum in London has stomped all over the museum's previous records. Louboutin's heels are known for their iconic shiny red soles, but they are famous for their stratospheric heights -- many reaching over four and a half inches. The video above explains the UK exhibition aims to give some background behind the iconic footwear, telling the story behind the style. It may also be a chance for many to get up close to the notoriously expensive shoes without breaking the bank. With upwards of 38,000 visitors since it opened in May 1, the exhibition seems to elicit the same fervor as Alexander McQueen's exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art last year. We're wondering how many times romance novelist Danielle Steel (who allegedly owns over 6,000 pairs) has been to see the show. For images from the exhibition, check out Vogue's incredible slideshow here and watch the video above to get the scoop on the French legend.  Christian Louboutin Shoes
